Battle of the Wills

Today has been a very trying day.
Lindsay is stubborn. I'm sure almost every child goes through this, but I don't remember it being this much of a battle.
I am so thankful for being a mom. I have been very blessed to have healthy kids. But today it has been one power struggle after another, basically wanting her own way or no way. In her fits, she has refused to eat both breakfast & lunch. She has screamed & screamed, thrown stuff, smacked stuff, grabbed the cat by the leg... We've noticed in the last week or two there have been little battles where I thought maybe it was just a bad day, maybe she didn't feel good, but today I realized this is the beginning of the terrible two's a few months early. I just keep thinking about that verse in all things give thanks or this too shall pass (although I'm not sure where that's from). I think it's time to look for some calming techniques for her & for me!
